Very Old
I transplanted some very old blueberry bushes this Spring. Some of them are doing well others seem to be dying?
I am watering them and have gotten many blueberries before the leaves started to die. Incidentally, I got them because a very good friend and old neighbor passed away and the people that bought his house choose to hack them out and burn them. I took them to save the plants and memory. I realize it was a great shock for the plants and the weather has been hot and dry to make things worse. Do you think they have a chance at coming back next year?
I think if you water them well, they wil take. they like acid soil. Do not give them regular fertilizer. they also prefer full sun.
