Deer Skin
How do you "Tan" deer and rabbit skin?
Can anyone Point me in the right direction? I go ferreting a lot so we get lots of rabbit skin left over, and i can also get my hands on deer skin. This is all thrown away and seems a waste. So i would like any info on tanning that can be done in the garden. We have tried rubbing salt into them and just letting them dry naturally, but with no success!
I would just like to answer devilangels question, the only one who is sick is you! it looks like you have no understanding of the matter. there is a big mixy problem round where i live, so would you think it would be better to leave the rabbits BLIND with PAINFULL SORES round there EYES Unable to eat so they slowey STARVE and have a slow PAINFULL death. The only one who is sick is you beacuse you wont do any thing about it!!
