Collection Arrowhead
Who should I contact to sell an arrowhead collection and how much is it worth?
Sorry I am so dumb but they were my late husbands and I know nothing about this. I'm from Alabama, their is a total of 22 arrowheads displayed in individual case and they are in very good condition. Where the arrowheads are from I've no idea. Again I apologize for being so dumb about this I just really need to sell them. If anyone can help me.
Depends on where they're from, and what style they are.
If they are your typical native american arrowhears from the last few hundred years, they arent worth a whole lot. They tend to be pretty common. My girlfriends grandfather would find a half dozen every time he plowed his backyard garden. He has several dozen framed in his basement.
If they are older, as in, first settlers in north america old, then they have far more value.
Without seeing them, its hard to put a value on them. I reccomend doing a little research online or at the library, there is a wealth of information out there about arrowheards. Or, as they are called by the archeologists: "projectile points".
Also, you can try ebay, and see how much similar items are going for.
