Beaver Lake
at what water temperature do walleys start the spawn, and what kind of structure do they use.?
the lake has 3 rivers, 2 coming in and 1 going out. one coming in has a beaver damn across it. depth of the lake is only 8 ft max. i have seen 10 pound walleye come out of the ice on this lake.
where i live in wisconsin the walleyes are an have been spawning for at least the last 2 months.right now northren pike is in full spawn.i think bass is in spawn now too.we have a closed season here in the spring so that most fish will get there spawn complete. i thank are d.n.r.(game wardens) for doing this .....other wise every body would catch all the fish with noturn over.hope this helped ya a tiny bit ........... good fishing!
