Modern Warfare 2 Custom Class?

I'm entering a Modern Warfare 2 Tournament and I'm wondering what you think about my class of choice?

Alright, custom classes are what I do best. You seem to have the class in mind of a rushing style of play. With perks like Marathon Pro, Lightweight Pro, and Commando Pro you obviously intend on doing a lot of running, flanking and rushing. Now while some may think it a pain, I would recommend a Magnum w/ Tactical Knife if it isn't banned in the tournament. If so then I guess the Ranger or Model 1887 is adequate if you are determined to have shotguns as your secondary. I'd be more partial to the M93 Rafficka w/ Akimbo. If you are a bad shot you have plenty of rounds in the clip to hit your target and it packs power in a close encounter. I will assume you want a Light Machine gun as your primary and work around it.

If you do intend on rushing a lot I would choose a setup like this.

Primary: AUG HBAR w/Holographic w/ Red Tiger Camo
Secondary: Magnum w/ Tactical Knife
Equipment: Sentex Grenade
Special: Stun Grenade
Perk 1: Marathon Pro
Perk 2: Lightweight Pro
Perk 3: Commando Pro
Death Streak: Martyrdom (I assume Final Stand is banned)

If you don't have Holographic unlocked with AUG HBAR then go with your L86. Like I said if Tact Knife is banned then think about the M93 Rafficka w/ Akimbo. Try the setup out beforehand to see if you like it. Now my own personal two setups for rushing are....

Primary: Scar-H w/ Holographic
Secondary: Magnum w/ Tactical Knife
Equipment: Semtex Grenade
Special Grenade: Stun Grenade
Perk 1: Marathon Pro
Perk 2: Lightweight Pro
Perk 3: Commando Pro
Death Streak: Martyrdom

This is my Tactical Knife setup of course, but I do use the Scar-H for those sticky situations where you need some range. My other setup is....

Primary: M16 w/ Holographic
Secondary: M93 Rafficka w/ Akimbo
Equipment: Semtex Grenade
Special Grenade: Stun Grenade
Perk 1: Scavenger Pro
Perk 2: Stopping Power Pro
Perk 3: Ninja Pro
Death Streak: Martyrdom (assuming Final Stand is banned)

This isn't quite running around nonstop, but you can definitely go in guns blazing. You don't have to worry about ammo running out with Scavenger Pro, because ammo will run out with this setup without it. Stopping Power Pro can be subbed if you want, I just like the extra impact. Ninja Pro silences your footsteps, making you a silent but deadly guns blazing kind of guy.

For kill streaks I would probably recommend Predator, Harrier, and Chopper Gunner or the AC 130. In a tournament I wouldn't really go for the Nuke, get the guaranteed big kill streaks with the Harrier, Chopper Gunner/ AC 130 combo.
