Rawhide Lot

My 9 month old puppy has a white pimple or blister on the outside of his mouth (gums). What could it be?
He plays a lot with his girlfriend (platonic!) and chews on many things like rawhides, sticks, toys, etc. I've never seen something like this before and just want to know if it could be something serious or if time will just take care of it.
It's probably canine papilloma virus or dog warts. They pass in a few months. It is even possible that he simply had a slight injury that will heal quicker.
