Does everyone agree that Norman Rockwell is a national treasure par excellence?
Before responding, I urge you all to peruse this supremely gifted man's entire legacy of paintings.
When you have done so, you will almost certainly concur that not only is the late Norman Rockwell a national treasure but that no current American's work, in whatever realm of creative endeavor, compares even remotely to the excellence of this wonderful illustrator's unique contribution to American culture.
Sadly, it would appear that it is almost always to the past that we must turn to find supreme examples of excellence.
When I was a child Norman Rockwell was my Idol when I became an adult although I still admired his work I found I preferred the works of another American treasure Frank Frazetta. You are asking for agreement to the exclusion of all others for some reason that annoys me.
